How do I reserve my accommodation?
To reserve your accommodation at Fifty One, simply contact our bookings team via email or phone. They will assist you with the reservation process, provide you with the available options, and ensure that your booking is confirmed. We’re here to make securing your stay as easy as possible.
What makes Fifty-One unique?
Fifty One offers a unique combination of prime location and exceptional design. Located in the heart of London, close to top universities and renowned landmarks, the development features stylish interiors, state-of-the-art facilities, and a vibrant atmosphere that supports student life, study, and socialising.
How do I pay my rent?
The best way to pay your rent is via bank transfer. We do also accept debit card or credit card payments but there is a charge which will be added to your rental payment
Is the building secure?
The building is fob access only meaning only residents can access the building. The site is covered with CCTV and there is a 24 staff presence 365 days per year.
Can I book if I’m under 18?
We do not accept parental responsibility for occupiers under the age of 18.
Can I bring a TV?
You can bring a TV for your room but you cannot mount it on the wall, so make sure it is free standing. You will need to purchase a UK TV licence so you can watch or record programmes on a TV, computer or other device as they’re broadcast LIVE.
Can I bring my bike?
Yes, we have bike spaces on site.
Can I bring my car?
There are no parking facilities at Fifty One London. You can bring a car and apply for a residents’ parking permit but resident spaces around the building are very limited.
Can I bring pets?
No. Sadly we do not allow pets at Fifty One London.
Can I choose where my room is in the building?
Yes, you can specify where you would like your room to be – from those which are still available – at the time you book.
Can I have overnight guests?
Yes, it’s your home so you can have guests staying over occasionally. All overnight guests should only stay in your own room and for no more than 3 nights within a 7 day period. You are responsible for the behaviour of any guests you bring to your apartment
How many rooms are in the development?
Fifty-One Cromwell Road boasts a total of 120 well-appointed rooms. These include a mix of studio apartments and shared accommodations designed to provide comfort, functionality, and a modern living experience. Every room is equipped with premium amenities to ensure the highest standard of student living.
Can I move in early?
Yes. We can arrange this for you. Please contact us directly and we’ll check the availability of your room prior to you checking in.
Can I move out early?
You can move out whenever you are ready but your contract with us has a fixed tern and you will need to pay the full rent until the end of the agreement.
Can I pay my rent using a bank transfer?
Students who want to make a bank transfer can do so by logging into the app or website and clicking the pay button. This is a slower payment method and the payment will take a few days to show in your account. However, from time to time payments originating from certain countries can be subject to restrictions. For further information you can log into your account and see what payment options are available to you.
Can I share my room with my partner?
We offer dual occupancy across a limited number of our studios where both residents are students.
Can I smoke in my room?
No. Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any part of the building, including on the balconies of those apartments with this feature. If you wish to smoke or Vape, you must exit the building.
Can I store my stuff with you over the holidays?
Yes, we can arrange temporary storage for possessions you don’t want to take home with you. Just ask your Reception team for details.
Can I sublet my room to someone else?
No, so please don’t try. We will find out.
Can I swap my room?
It may be possible to swap or change your room once you have moved in, subject to availability. A room change fee will apply. To find out if it’s possible for you to change room, please speak to the accommodation manager
Do I have to be home by a certain time each night?
No, it’s up to you when you come in. If returning late at night, please respect your fellow residents and keep noise to a minimum between 11pm and 7am.
Do I need to clean my accommodation when I move out?
Yes, please make sure your accommodation is clean to avoid any cleaning charges.
Do you provide bedding?
We can provide this for you or you can bring your own. Please confirm with the site team what you intend to do.
Do you provide Kitchen equipment?
Your room has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, hob and fridge freezer. We provide plates, cuttlery, glasses, cooking utensils and pans. If you wish you can bring your own. Please speak to the site team to tell them what you’re planning to do.
Do you permit the use of drugs at its accommodation?
No, drugs are not permitted and prohibited items will be confiscated. The llicense agreement gives us the right to confiscate substances, without the consent of the resident.
How can I leave my room if I’m still in contract?
If you need to leave Fifty One London, you’ll need to find another student to take over your tenancy for the remainder of your contract.
